Causes of Hauntings

A haunting is a place where the ghosts of past events and emotions linger. The apparitions can appear as solid images or just feel like an uneasy presence in the space. It has been reported that they can make a sound, move objects, and even cause people to become sick. It is believed that the cause of these hauntings can be attributed to a number of factors, including weather, temperature, and proximity of living beings. In one study, Wiseman found that places allegedly haunted often have cold spots or other localized areas where the air is cooler than the rest of the room. This is due to a lack of humidity.

It is also reported that some ghosts will attach themselves to particular items in a home or room. These are called residual hauntings, and they are usually caused by trauma or violence. It is said that these types of hauntings occur most frequently in war zones, crime scenes, prisons, and other areas where a high amount of negative energy was created.

Another common cause of haunting is dirt and grime. This can be seen by the large number of haunted staircases. It is thought that when people walk up and down a set of stairs, they expend energy which leaves a residue. Also, a person’s thoughts can create a negative vibration that may also affect an object or area. It is important that companies keep their workplace clean and organized, especially the basements and other dark or isolated rooms.
